The Perfect Gift ~ 2010 Holiday Barbie

      

 The 2010 Holiday Barbie is finally here, and she is beautiful, as you would expect. As in prior years, she still comes in a Caucasian and an African-American doll.  

 Both of the dolls come in the same stunning tri-colored gown, for 2010 it features white, red, and golden hues.     

 The dolls always feature unique jewelery, and this year is no exception. Barbie is displaying long over-sized earrings, that are pear shaped and deep red and gold.  

She wears a matching golden headband, with 2 pear shaped red colored stones in the shape of a bow.  A perfect accent to this years flowing dress.   

2010 Holiday Barbie ~ Oh, What A Dress…

   

Most years I really like the dress, but this year it’s a real hit. She is ready for the Yuletide season in this gown. It is full from the waist down and features white and red flowing all the way to her feet.    

The form fitting bodice of  white, read, and embroidered gold is patterned through the waistline, where it angles and stops with a full bow that glides to the floor. The bow, like a Christmas present, is curled neatly.     

The material of the dress is polyester like, and features a thin tulle overlay. She tops off the entire look with a red shoulder wrap, that flows to her back, and covers the strapless gown effortlessly. It is truly a beautiful gown for the 2010 Holiday Barbie.

2010 Holiday Barbie Doll Caucasian

   

The 2010 Caucasian Christmas doll looks stunning wearing light brown eyeshadow complementing her pale blue eyes. Her lips are a deep garnet shade of red, and they match the color of her nails perfectly.  

Her eye lashes are thick, neatly curled, and deep black. She has thick blond hair that is curled neatly and flows well past her shoulders.   

Those flowing locks of hair are held back in the golden hairband, that looks more like a piece of jewelry than a hair accessory. The elegant look flows effortlessly right down into the gown.

The African-American Holiday Barbie for 2010

   

She includes the same dress, jewelry, and packaging as the Caucasian doll, but with black wavy hair and sparkling light brown eyes. The eyes are accented by shining silver eyeshadow and deep black eye liner.  

Her delicate fingernails match her lips with a deep red garnet shade.  

The 2010 Holiday Barbie Pose

   

Both of the 2010  Holiday Barbie dolls pose gracefully this year. They have a hand at the waist, and a hand extended out to the side, in a princess style stance.  

 It represents the ball gown look, as if she is ready to take the floor with her prince.

Packaging for the 2010 Holiday Barbie

   

The Holiday Barbie dolls for 2010 come in a red box, which matches her dress and shawl. It features a large plastic window that allows for a full view of Barbie, her dress, and the packaging background.  

The background is a powder blue winter scene of a beautiful snowy day.  

It showcases sparkling snowflakes, snow covered trees and a reindeer with a dangling red bow that matches Barbies.  

 
The clear window protecting Barbie features golden snowflakes and ‘2010 Holiday Barbie’ in bright red lettering.  

The word ‘Barbie Collector’ is on the bottom front of the box. The box slides open, and allows for a close up view of the doll.
